Join the Family Fund, Contact and Differabled Scotland, in partnership with the Scottish Government, for an event in Glasgow on Monday 20th August to provide parent carers of disabled children and young people with the opportunity to hear about the new resource being developed by Scottish Government. Give your views on how it can be developed to achieve its aims of:
- giving people all the information they need to understand the law and find the help and support options that are available across Scotland
- being a first step towards putting all this information in one place and making it available and accessible to all
The consultation on ‘Supporting Disabled Children, Young People and Their Families Resource’ was officially launched in June this year and provides an opportunity for you to share your thoughts to help make the new resource as useful as possible.
The link to the consultation is as follows: https://consult.gov.scot/children-and-families/supporting-disabled-children/ and the Consultation will close on the 5th September 2018.
