To Better Lives
3 years to make a difference
By harnessing the views of parents, disabled children and young people we can deliver longlasting change for future generations.
Change children's lives with our Charter
Through 3 years to make a difference, we are finding out what needs to change. Families' views informed the development of the fSDC Charter and its ten commitments. These commitments would make a difference to families' lives, especially in these four areas:
Short breaks
We are determined to improve access to and provision of quality short breaks for all families with disabled children.
Transition
Increasing and improving support for when disabled children and young people move through transition periods in their lives is vital.
Childcare
We want to see better quality, affordable and appropriate childcare provision for families with disabled children.
Education
Improving educational opportunities and outcomes through better support and provision is key to making a difference to disabled children's lives.
