Shared Care Scotland Pilot Scheme

Shared Care Scotland is in the early stages of piloting a website that they hope will make carers lives a little bit easier.  Shared Care Scotland hope that the website addresses the problem that some carers have spoken about; when they need help for the routine things in life.  Often, people have family and friends that are able to offer help from time to time but are unable to offer regular help, and asking them for help creates stresses.  This website establishes a community of friends and family who are willing to help occasionally.  The carer or cared for person then creates a task in a diary that they want help with.  The website then emails each member of their community and if someone is able to help, they respond and claim the task.  If you feel that you would like to help test this, are a regular computer user, and have family and friends who are also regular computer users or you would like to find out more information contact Ben Hall at Shared Care Scotland email ben.hall@sharedcarescotland.com or telephone 01383 622 462
