4 - Days 9-14

We went to the MotoGP in Brno......Mum and Andy both have bikes.  It was over 400 miles away, took us over 4 hours in the car.  Andy bought me a Vaavaazula (or it's called something like that), and when the bikes went past, I made as much noise as them!

Mum wasn't very pleased with the folks there......Mum typing now......we didn't bring Molly's Blue Badge, but we did have the wheelchair, but the folks (their shirts suggested they were the Police) just were not interested as 1) we weren't VIPs, and 2) there was nothing on our car that suggested we had a disabled passenger.  I pointed to the wheelchair, but just TOTALLY not interested and just told us to move.  Charming!  So, we had to drive quite a bit away from the racetrack, park our car.....and then just followed the herd to a bus.  So, we managed to get Molly on (and thanks to the 3 lovely blokes who helped Molly on and Andy with the wheelchair).  We get there, and push Molly along - we decided not to go too far in, as we knew it would be tricky to get Molly and the wheelchair back out.  Enjoyed our day....lots of lovely sunshine, and bikes.....Valentino Rossi and many other top class racers.  And when we decided to leave.............the absolute nightmare started.  So, we get back to where the bus dropped us off, and could not find one person who could help us (speaking English being key).  So we had to guess at the bus to get on.  Managed to get on ok (ish), and off we go......and then he (bus driver) stops and stands up and shouts at us all......and with hand jestures tells us we have to get off.  People started to argue with him as we're not where our cars are, but he was having none of it - shouting we had to GET OFF.  Than, as I'm helping Molly off the bus, he closes the doors on us both.....seriously!  Folks were shouting at him to open the doors and he didn't bother.  No point in adding how angry I was!   So, we're stuck God knows where - I managed to store our location (where the car was) in my BlackBerry Google Map, and could see we were over a mile from the car.  What was going on!?!?!?  Another passenger saw some Police and went over to ask how we got to our cars.  We're to get the No 52 Bus - can you belive it?!  The bus eventually comes (35mins waiting) and no help getting on this time, so Melissa, Rosie and Molly end up at the front of the bus, and Andy + I in the middle as we JUST managed to get the wheelchair on before the bus was full and no more people could squeeze on.  So God knows what was up with the driver, but he absolutely FLYs along and we're all thrown about the bus.  We stop about 400 yards past our car - thank God!  At least now we can get back in and start the drive home.  Great day spoiled through lack of organisation at Brno, and idiot bus drivers.

Out last outing was the City Square at Krakow.  Mum says it is just as beautiful at Christmas time with lots and lots of snow and a HUGE Christmas tree.  We went to shops, and then we got a horse-drawn carriage to go around all the streets.  It was great fun - I loved the horses (I go horse riding at the week-ends and love most of the horses there - will write a blog about that sometime too).
