I will begin blogging again probably later on this week, but I just wanted to put in a couple of wee paragraphs first to say Hi! and hope you’re all well.

Having a child like Joff can be extraordinarily testing and the issues can be handled in many different ways, but I like to think that overall, we cope very well.

However.

Having one set of circumstances that is hard to cope with doesn’t make one in any way immune from other difficult situations and without going into detail, for confidential/legal reasons, 2009-2010 was incredibly difficult for Team Effie in many ways.

I think it’s fair to say that I had to just take time out from writing the blog temporarily to lick my wounds in private and try to recover my writing mojo. I have still a long way to go before I can say I’ve healed, but I am sorry for starting off the blog and then leaving you hanging.
