Robyn's thoughts (the big sister)
Hello, my name is Robyn and I am 6.
I have this little sister called Gaelle; she is very funny and she has eczema (originally spelt 'eggsema'!).
You can't catch eczema. I am glad I don't have it but it must be nice to get a massage from mummy with lots of different creams everyday.
Last week, Gaelle went outside with only her 'white things' on (her bandages). She looked like a little ghost. We laughed a lot!
When Gaelle is unwell, I like to go and check if she's alright and if she doesn't scratch too much.
I think the eczema will go away when Gaelle is maybe 6 or 7. Until then, we cream her three times a day, give her her 'scratchy medicine' and play Corner-corner or Hide and seek.
I like my little sister very much because she plays me a lot but sometime, when I am at school and I don't get to see her, I miss her.
Robyn
