Well...it's all resolved.  Not really in the way I wanted it to be resolved, but resolved nonetheless.  Both friends I mentioned have blocked me/unfollowed me/deleted me on all our associated websites.  I don't know why.  But the funny thing is, I don't mind nearly as much as I thought I would.  In fact, it's almost a relief.  The thing I realise now, is that I was so scared of losing them as friends that I never actually HAD much of a friendship with them in the first place.  Now I feel FREE.  I understand now that to get too attached to someone as remote as an internet person is not wise.  It just leads to paranoia and often heartache.  But to have internet friends is ok, so long as security and objectivity are maintained.  And objectivity means being able to enter wholeheartedly into the friendship while it lasts, but then also being able to let it go if it doesn't work out, and not letting it destroy you.
