3 Scorpions
My name is Lynda, I am a single parent to two very handsome and loving sons. Lee age 18 and Connor age 16 who just happen to have health conditions that we don't let control our lives too much. Connor was diagnosed with Noonan Syndrome SOS1 gene mutation. His journey has been a difficult one and he has had 15 surgeries to date. Lee has also had a difficult journey. He was miss-diagnosed twice. Then at age 16 was given the diagnosis of Schizoaffective Disorder, he also was diagnosed at age 11 with Hypothyroidism. We spend a lot of time back and forward to Dr's, clinics and hospitals. I will not go into fine details at the moment, as there has been a lot to tell so I will keep it for another day.
I never knew that raising the boys on my own would be so difficult but rewarding. They have taught me to become a stronger person, an advocate, more understanding, patient, a fighter and to appreciate everything in life.

Recovery
Connor is still recovering from his surgery slowly. One of his wounds is infected and he is still having tummy issues. He has been having a lot of burning in his chest and stomach so he had to go to the Dr yesterday. He's been given a cream for his wound and Gaviscon for the burning.
Surgery all done
We arrived at hospital for his Gallbladder to be removed on the 23RD. I got to stay with him and by 9am he was on his way to the operating theatre. He was given a gown and paper knick knacks and boy did I have a problem to try and get him to wear them, instead he put them on top of his shocking pink boxers.
